Bamboo Bar – A bamboo tiki bars adds a funky touch to any outdoor party or event. The bar itself consists of plywood boards, tied together in a U-shape with a counter attached to the top. Bamboo panels, such as those used for wall and fence linings, are the size and shape for adding the tiki element to the outside of the board. Building a tiki bar is a project that even those with limited woodworking skills can complete on a weekend or less.
Create a U shape of boards of pressure treated plywood. The longest board, measures 38 by 62 inches, is the front of the bar, with two boards that measure 38 by 36 inches as the sides. The finishing bamboo bar will be 38 inches high, 36 inches wide and 62 inches long. Apply wood glue to the edges of the boards and clamp. After the wood glue dries, remove the clamps. The sink of a 2-inch bamboo screw through the edge of the bamboo. Each screw must pass through both pieces of plywood, securing the wood together.

Place the screws every two inches apart on the edges of each board. Coat glue from the top edges of the bamboo bar. Establish a pressure treated plywood board, 24-in. 62-inch top. Align the edges with the top edges of the boards. Top the sides of the clamp with wooden clips and let it dry overnight.
